This website is operated by The Tailor Cartel (ABN 73171760539). Our online store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

Products

We make every effort to display our jewellery and accessories accurately. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or sizing may occur due to screen settings or the natural characteristics of materials used. All products are subject to availability and we reserve the right to discontinue any item at any time.

Orders & Billing

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order for reasons including suspected fraud, unauthorised use, or stock unavailability. In such cases, you will be notified and refunded promptly if payment has already been processed.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse the order. If your payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued.

Shipping

We ship Australia-wide using Australia Post Express. Most orders arrive within 1–3 business days, but please allow up to 5 business days during peak periods. A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.

The Tailor Cartel is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or external events beyond our control.

Returns & Warranty

We do not offer refunds. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for exchange or store credit only, provided the item is unworn, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

Earrings, custom or engraved items, and sale or promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Customers are responsible for return shipping and any items lost in transit.

We offer a six-month warranty for manufacturing faults or defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear (including scratches, fading, or tarnishing), damage caused by chemicals or water, breakage, misuse, or third-party alterations. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Items that are broken and subsequently lost cannot be replaced without physical proof of the item.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for use exclusively at www.tailorcartel.com. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced. Gift cards do not expire and can be used on all non-sale items unless otherwise specified.

Intellectual Property

All content, including product designs, photographs, branding, logos, and written materials on this website are the property of The Tailor Cartel and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Third-Party Services

We use Shopify to process orders and provide our store platform. Your use of third-party services such as payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Afterpay) is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for any issues arising from their use.

Limitation of Liability

The Tailor Cartel is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage that may result from the use of our website or products. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, income, or business opportunity.

You use this website and purchase our products at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling orders or obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or disruptions in shipping services.

User Conduct

By using our website, you agree not to misuse it for unlawful or harmful purposes, including spreading malicious software, attempting to breach security, or violating any applicable laws.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New South Wales.
